The Valley Vintage Rugby Club is planning another trip to Spain in March of 2010. It will be similar to the very successful trip to Portugal in 2003, where a party of 55 people participated. The 2010 tour will be 21 days in length, and take advantage of Long Term Stays in Benalmadema, Spain, on the Costa del Sol.
Flight out will be to Malaga by Lufthansa. Upon arrival the party will be transferred to the Sunset Beach Club; accommodation will consist of 1 bedroom outside suites with balcony, kitchen, A/C, all amenities for cooking, breakfast included. At the end of the stay, the party will be transferred back to Malaga for the flight home.
Cost: CDN$2,500 per person, all taxes and fees included. Extras: Food, drinks, entertainment, touring costs.
Contact has been made with Old Boys/Vets rugby clubs in Marbella ( the next community down the coast), Gibralter, Malaga, El Peurto de Santa Maria near Cadiz, and we can also visit old friends from the University of Seville Old Boys. Getting a games or 2 of Rugby in will not be a problem!
A committed core of experienced players from the Vintage have already signed up, but help will be needed from the PANORU community. Talk to anyone who came in 2003 and ask about the magic of the Iberian Peninsula. North Africa is only a day trip away from Gibralter.

Come to Spain, it is cheap, drink wine, play some rugby and golf, explore, pretend you are Ernest Hemingway, hang around with your best rugby friends, veg out on the Costa del Sol, for only CDN$2,500 per person. All travel has to be completed by April 1st.
